HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY!!!!

Cooper's Birthday started out with a trip to the zoo!! Daddy, Mommy, Uncle Kevin, Grandpa Richard, Brian,  Nana and Grandpa Jeff took Cooper to the zoo, it was the perfect day bc it was nice and cool/overcast in the morning so by the time we made it all the way through the sun had come out and it was warm again! Unfortunately after the zoo we stopped at the hospital to visit Grandpa Great who was in the hospital for the weekend due to some heart failure, good news is he is back home and doing very well and it looks like he will be able to take medication to get better!

Saturday we threw a HUGE bash for Cooper's Birthday!!! Near 70 people came to the house and we had a huge BBQ! We opened presents and Cooper did a wonderful job at smashing his own cake! All in all it was a busy but great day filled with all of the people we love the most! Thank you so much to everyone who came and made Cooper's Birthday one to remember!

Cooper's Summer Fun

Cooper has had a great summer, he got a box from Auntie grandma's patio furniture and then Nana got new patio furniture as well and so Mama put them together and built a pretty sweet cardboard house! Grandpa even put door knobs on the doors! Another fun thing is the dirt box! There is a small box in the back deck meant to be a planter for plants but Cooper has discovered it this summer and dubbed it his dirt box where he loves to play and get filthy! Lastly we found a small blow up pool and decided to fill it up one hot day and Cooper had a blast splashing around and playing in it! Its been a great summer leading up to Mr. Mans 1st Birthday!!!

The weekend before Cooper's birthday and everyone decided his shaggy hair needed a trim! So Grandpa Jeff and I took him to get his very first haircut! We went to the Great Clips that grandpa gets his haircut, Cooper went first and sat on Grandpa's lap! He got the Vietnamese hairdresser who was very good with Cooper. He was very curious as to what he was doing so he was constantly trying to look at the hairdresser. Which made it hard to cut his hair with him moving his head all around. But all in all Cooper did very well and he looks OH SO handsome after his haircut!

Time Flies When Your Having Fun

Holy cow, a year has almost passed and Cooper is almost a year old! I cannot believe the time went by so fast and I cannot believe all of the amazing things Cooper is able to do now! He is a master at the stairs (skill acquired at LoTO) He pulls up and stands on EVERYTHING! He loves to clap and bounce on his behind! He says lots of words like Mama, Dada, NaNa, Doggie, and Nite Nite! He crawls super fast! He shares his food! He eats big boy food! He is so amazing and he is only learning more and more, I could not ask for a more perfect little boy, I cannot wait for his birthday party! I have been planning the best sock monkey bash and we are so excited that Grammy, Grandpa and Uncle Kevin will be able to make it!
