Cooper's Sandbox

Its about that time, to spend long days out in the sun, getting dirty, throwing sticks and playing in mud puddles...what better thing to build for this growing 1 1/2 year old than a giant sandbox! Bampa has decided that a giant sandbox would be loads of fun for Mr. Cooper and so they got to work...Cooper had fun helping Bampa and still to this day takes his tools and checks all the screws before he gets into the sand! Nana bought him a heavy duty, crazy fun sand castle building kit and he and I have been playing in it ever since!

Happy Easter 2012
Holy Thursday was spent coloring eggs this year, Cooper was pretty good considering! Of course he thought the eggs were balls there for they got more of a football spike into the "Water" (as Cooper called it) than a gentle place! I think he had fun seeing them change colors and he even got to try the one he threw across the table in an attempt to get it into the "water" we forgot to give him! We of course could not expect him to sit still the whole time so after a while him and daddy went to play baseball and tennis! Talk about all boy! I think someone is gonna be a sports buff, I cannot wait to see him play all the sports and see what he's good at (I secretly hope its baseball :)

Tonight Bampa and I get baptized and Bampa, Nana and I get confirmation and communion, something we have been looking forward to since September, it should be special but we would never expect Mr. Coop to last 3 hours at church so he gets to spend the evening with Daddy!

Cooper is always on the go these days, weather it be on his way to the park or to the babysitters! It doesn't matter where he is going as long as he's going! Now that the nice spring weather has come along we have enjoyed some runs to the park, Cooper has mastered the slide as well as made some new friends, he LOVES to watch older people play tennis especially when they share balls, racquets and treats! Cooper also enjoys playing in the backyard, for his birthday he got an awesome playset and has not been able to use it until now, he loves to go down the slide and catapult across the yard, he runs, digs, and picks up sticks and rocks (such a boy!) He even gets a kick out of chasing Winston around the yard! When he is not in the backyard playing he is in the front yard showing off his "BASKET" skills to the neighbors. They have taught him how to shoot and kick and even hit the ball with his little tennis racquet! When Cooper is cooped up inside we enjoy, playing with grow sponges, reading books, playing cars, dancing like crazy, shooting baskets and watching a few of his favorite shows :)
