Cooper and Santa!

Cooper had a wonderful 1st Thanksgiving...his daddy came in Wednesday and spent Thanksgiving with us!Cooper had a little taste of cranberries, sweet potatos and whip cream! He has also started eating rice cereal and sleeping through the night!! (Mommy LOVES a full night of sleep!) And then Saturday Grammy, Auntie Diana, and Uncle Kevin came to visit! We had a lot of fun and everyone was able to enjoy Cooper and all of his new tricks!

Andy and I opened a savings account for Coop, and Grandma and Grandpa Shigeno got to babysit Friday night while Andy and I went out with Steven, Jaime and Steven friends! It was a great break for mommy and Grandpa and Grandma got to spend some time with their grandsons! Ethan came to visit for a while and he got to love on Cooper as well! Saturday we took Cooper and Ethan to see Santa and get Coopers first Santa picture taken! Today Grammy and Uncle Kevin got to babysit while I picked up Grandpa Jeff from work!

Over all it was a great weekend...next Mommy gets to visit Springfield and leave Cooper with Grandma and Grandpa for 4 days and then after that Andy will be out for Xmas, then Cooper, Andy and I travel to St. Louis and to Illinois for Christmas on the Farm with Andys grandparents and family, then we all travel back to Denver for New Years where we have a big Japanese feast at Grandma Greats!

Check out the picture website at the top of the blog for many more pictures from the weekend!

The Holiday Season

Cooper in his adorable raccoon outfit and hat!

Tummy Time!
We are trying to get him use to a hat for the cold Colorado winter!
Cooper loves to hold, grab and play with toys
Especially his monkey!

Cooper has been battling with his poor little left eye. I have taken him to the doctor twice for it and they have given us two different eye drops that dont seem to be helping, his eye gets swollen, it fills up with green/yellow goop and I have to constantly clean it out! He has another appointment today with the doctors and hopefully they can figure out what it is and take care of it. (I will write an update after his appointment.)

Other than that Cooper is doing great, he is such a joy and so much fun to play with. Grandpa Jeff is home from knee replacement surgery and I am sure Cooper enjoys having someone other than Mom to play with during the day!

We are looking forward to the holiday season, although it will be very busy. For Thanksgiving Andy, Grammy, Auntie Diana, and Uncle Kevin are coming to visit and meet Cooper. Early December I am flying to Springfield, MO for a friends wedding and a friends Graduation for 4 days. I will be leaving Cooper with my parents and I am nervous to be away from him for so long, but I am looking forward to my trip. Andy will be here for Christmas to help us celebrate Cooper's first Christmas and then after that Cooper, Andy and I will be flying to St. Louis to visit Andy's family for the holidays! THEN...Cooper, Andy and I will be flying back to Denver for New Years which is a big holiday for my family! So it will be an exciting couple of weeks with Coop's first X-mas and first flight!

7 AM wake up call!

Its 7am...typical wake up time, and I am ready for my day to begin! Like always I love to start off talking, kicking and wiggling in Mama's bed! once I wear myself out I eat a bottle! Then I usually fall asleep for a short nap. After that its wake up and play time! I love to play on my play mat where I can once again talk, kick, and wiggle!!
