The Adventures of Cooper

Sorry it has been so long, a walking/running boy tends to keep me busier that before! We have one little man on our hands that is constantly on the move, we keep saying if we didn't give him a bottle and his blanket he would just skip over naps and bedtime and just WALK AND WALK AND WALK all day and all night!

Cooper had his first "walking" accident (more so a parental error than a Cooper error) Cooper, Daddy, Uncle Brian and Winston and I were on the back porch with Cooper playing on the couple of steps to the porch; Daddy, Brian and I were so entertained by the tennis ball stuck to Winston's "cone" (we neutered him finally) anyways we were so entertained by Winston that we all missed Cooper falling from the stairs and scraping his forehead, nose and eye. He had a pretty bad scar on his forehead and he had a pretty bad bruise as well but a little bit of TLC and Neosporin and he is looking like his handsome self once again!

Like I said, Cooper is always on the move. He loves to spend the warmer days outside exploring, often times this is with Grandpa Great Joe, who likes to take Cooper out and watch him throw rocks or swing in his swing. Recently Cooper found his favorite walking stick, he walked around the yard for hours exploring! Its amazing to watch this curious critter looking at everything and examining things like they are fascinating.

A funny Cooper story, this morning I was sitting on the couch in our house and Cooper was standing in the living room and the next thing I know I hear this "pitter patter pitter patter.." and Cooper comes lightning bolting into the living room and he falls into "Big Bear" he cracked me up because he has gotten quicker lately and I just felt like he came sprinting into the room out of no where!

All in all we are doing great, Cooper is like Nana likes to say a "full blown toddler now!" Along with his walking and running he is also talking up a storm he knows upwards of 50 words now (according to Bampa 5,000) and he is constantly walking and babbling! He is so smart and fun, he learns something new daily, Bampa taught him to hit the ball with his back scratcher, and Nana taught him where everyones nose is! He loves to read and will make me read him the same book at least 3 times! He loves to go "Bye-Bye" no matter where it is he is going!
